AMEC Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Muhammadiyah University Jakarta

Jakarta, 8 July 2026 – The Asia Middle East Center for Research and Dialogue (AMEC) proudly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Muhammadiyah University Jakarta (UMJ), marking a shared commitment to advancing research, academic exchange, and policy dialogue.
Representing AMEC were Dr. Muslim Imran, Director of AMEC, Dr. Asep Setiawan, Regional Coordinator at AMEC and Head of the Political Science Laboratory at UMJ, and the AMEC Indonesia team. UMJ was represented by Prof. Dr. Tria Astika Endah Permatasari, M.K.M., Vice-Rector III for Student Affairs and Alumni, and Miftahul Ulum, S.I.P., MPS., M.Sc., Ph.D., Head of the Political Science Department, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP UMJ).
This partnership lays the foundation for future collaboration through joint research, academic programs, and public dialogues that contribute to addressing regional and global challenges.
